The Rolston is out of the ground!
After several months of building what perhaps only us construction types appreciate, the Rolston is now moving into the much more intriguing phase of the above street level commercial and residential floors.
The second floor office slab is scheduled for concrete placement next week (side note —concrete isn’t poured, it is “placed” as it is not a liquid) and shortly after that the residential levels will start. Keep a look out for the unique architectural expression that defines the Rolston to start taking shape on Vancouver’s downtown South skyline.

As 2011 comes to a close, we are taking some time to look back at the projects and initiatives we’ve worked on this year. We’re pleased with the progress of our development projects, and we’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to showcase local entrepreneurs and artists through our various community initiatives. 2011 has also been our first formal year of Rize blogging, Tweeting and Facebooking, with a large volume published on our projects, neighbourhoods and interests.
