Vernon-raised Chris Vollan is Rize’s Vice President of Development. An engineering graduate from Montreal’s McGill University, Chris specialized in the seismic restoration of heritage buildings in Victoria before moving on to major project development in the Western United States. Chris was drawn back home to Vancouver for many reasons; friends, family and quality of life being on the top of the list in this “young city that is so exciting for what it is, and what it’s becoming.”

Chris lives in downtown Vancouver where he walks or bikes to work. When he’s not at Rize, he’s running with his two labs, or snowboarding and biking at Silver Star and Whistler. A self-confessed “travel addict”, Chris’ most recent trip saw him backpacking and eating his way across China, while checking out both new and ancient construction.
